Essential Services

Friendship House provides basic services for clients who are not residents of our shelters. By meeting the basic needs of those struggling with homelessness and poverty, we offer kindness, dignity and respect.

Clothing

Our clothing closet is located Behind the Women's House (922 S 3rd St) and is open to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 AM - 3 PM.

Individuals are given the opportunity to find multiple items for free and may return as often as needed.

Showers

Women and children may take showers at the Women's House, Monday-Friday, from 1:00pm to 3:30pm. Towels and toiletries are provided.

Men may take showers at the Men's House on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, from ​9:45 AM - 11 AM. Towels and toiletries are provided.

Laundry

Anyone may use our laundry units for free.


The Love and Laundry facility is open to the community from 1 PM - 3 PM, on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week as long as volunteers are available.


You must sign up on the sheet attached to the door of the love & laundry facility, ​located behind the Men's House (1008 S 3rd St) prior to guarantee your reservation to use the machines.
