Born and raised in Washington, I married my soulmate, and for 30 years the Navy took us and our four children all over the world! This past year my husband and I came back home to Skagit County where we can spend time with family & friends, especially our kids, grandkids, and the great grandbabies! While raising our children I took classes as I could fit them in and in 2013 earned my bachelor’s degree in Finance Forensics. While in Virginia, I applied my accounting background and found a new passion working for two Feeding America Foodbanks in Virginia; The Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and then as Director of Finance and Administration at the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank. I am thrilled to be working to support a mission and organization I care about here in Skagit County and look forward to helping this organization continue to support those in need at the Skagit Friendship House.
